NMBWA values and supports the development of initiatives that promote the advancement of nursing practice, education, research and management.

As part of its Strategic Plan, the Nurses and Midwives Board of Western Australia supports research areas that reflect community and professional needs.

To meet these objectives, the Board offers Research and Development Awards annually and provides monthly Financial Grants to support ongoing professional development.
