NMBWA values and supports the development of initiatives that promote the advancement of nursing and midwifery practice, education, research and management.
As part of its Strategic Plan, NMBWA supports research areas that reflect community and professional needs. To meet these objectives, NMBWA offers research and development awards annually and provides monthly financial grants to support ongoing professional development.
Over the last financial year, NMBWA awarded $110,930 in grants, a $10,000 research award and $9,550 was donated towards sponsorship awards.
