As the statutory body responsible for the regulation of nursing practice throughout Western Australia and the associated Indian Ocean Territories of the Commonwealth, the Board's core responsibility is to protect the public against unsafe nursing practice. The Strategic Plan 2004-2008 identifies key focus areas through which Board will meet this mandate over the next five years.
