Finance and Corporate Advisory Committee

The Finance and Corporate Advisory Committee provides advice and information to NMBWA on all matters relating to financial and information management, risk management, quality management, human resources management and marketing.

In supporting NMBWA to meet its regulatory responsibilities, the Finance and Corporate Advisory Committee considers:

  • Key factors which may affect the financial sustainability of the organisation
  • Financial, accounting and auditing policies and statements as required
  • Data management systems to ensure information needs of the organisation are met
  • Operational and strategic risk management policies to identify, analyse and manage major risks to the short and long-term success of the organisation
  • Policies to support:
    • best practice human resources management
    • quality management principles
    • strategic asset management
    • customer needs
  • Marketing strategies to:
    • increase public awareness of NMBWA’s role in safeguarding the health of the community as it pertains to nursing
    • effectively promote products and services of the organisation

Experts as required may be invited from the Network Advisory Panel to facilitate committee business as ex-officio members. The Finance and Corporate Advisory Committee Terms of Reference are available below.
