- Directs and manages the provision of all corporate services to meet operational (including statutory) and organisational strategic requirements.
- Ensures all corporate performance reporting is carried out to meet government requirements.
- Leads the planning and management of the activities of the Finance & Corporate Services directorate.
- Ensures the delivery of effective and efficient finance, human resource, information systems and administrative services to the NMBWA.
- Performs statutory functions of Chief Finance Officer for the NMBWA.

Shapes and Manages Strategy
Contributes as a member of the Corporate Executive to the strategic management of the NMBWA and the development, implementation and evaluation of the organisation’s strategic objectives and policies.
Recommends, plans, develops and implements corporate management policies, strategies and systems in line with NMBWA’s objectives and public sector requirements.
Compiles and/or co-ordinates the provision of effective corporate reporting on NMBWA performance to meet government requirements.
Acts as Deputy to the Chief Executive Officer.
Develops recommendations for the NMBWA Board and Chief Executive Officer on financial, human and information technology resource utilisation and planning.
Achieves Results
Lead the planning and management of systems and processes to ensure efficient financial management of NMBWA, including carrying out the statutory functions of Chief Finance Officer.
Leads the planning and implementation of approved workplace reforms, including improved work practices.
Develops, implements and evaluates policies, objectives, systems and strategies for the provision of effective and efficient administrative and management functions to support NMBWA activities.
Directs the development, implementation and evaluation of effective human resource policies and procedures.
Leads complex financial and corporate service related projects.
Directs the planning, implementation and evaluation of NMBWA’s information systems requirements.
Coordinates the processes associated with access to information under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act and Public Interest Disclosure Act.
Evaluates the performance of the Department, identifies critical success factors and instigates continuous improvement strategies to achieve outcomes.
Assumes accountability for the effective management of human, financial and physical resources of the Finance & Corporate Services Department.
Builds and Maintains Productive Relationships and Networks
Leads the building and retention of effective relationships and networks with key stakeholders including other State and Commonwealth departments.
Communicates NMBWA's vision and direction to key internal and external stakeholders and acts as an agent of change in building and understanding and commitment of stakeholders to NMBWA's objectives.
Provides leadership in promoting, encouraging and supporting innovative practices aligned to NMBWA's objectives.
Encourages and motivates employees to engage in continuous learning and provides appropriate professional development opportunities.
Represents NMBWA at a senior level on committees, working parties, seminars and other forums.
